Yoga

Yoga is an ancient system of practices that integrate physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. It includes techniques such as breathing, postures, relaxation, chanting, and meditation.

The word “yoga” means “to yoke” or “to unite,” emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Qigong

Qigong (“chi gong”) is a system of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation said to be useful for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial arts training.

Like Yoga, this gentle practice taps into the idea that our bodies hold innate healing wisdom, and we ourselves are our own best healers. Qigong integrates movement, breath, and focused intent to improve physical health and mental clarity.

Community Wellness

Wellness is the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health with a focus on holistic and natural approaches, self-healing and preventative care.

Wellness is associated with an active process of being aware and making choices that lead toward an outcome of optimal holistic health and wellbeing.
